The Fenix HM60R is an intelligent outdoor head torch with a beam of up to 1200 lumens. It is enhanced with a spot and floodlight, but also a red light. You can use the broad and focused light modes at the same time to make sure you can see both your feet and your surroundings. As such the HM60R will come in handy during the most diverse situations. Think of trail running, climbing, hiking or camping. 

## Clever technology when trail running.

The head torch is enhanced with a sensor that will automatically adjust the beam to your speed during your run. The faster you run, the brighter the light will burn. The anti-slip headband for the Fenix HM60R is extra-broad to make sure it will always stay in place. The reflective strips on the band ensure that you are visible in the dark. Better safe than sorry. The head torch is enhanced with a holder that allows the light to turn 180 degrees. As such you can easily set up the desired angle.

## Light modes for the Fenix HM60R

### Spotlight mode with focused beam

  * Turbo: 1200 lumens, burn time of approx. 2:00 hours*
  * High: 350 lumens, burn time of approx. 8:00 hours
  * Medium: 130 lumens, burn time of approx. 18:00 hours
  * Low: 30 lumens, burn time of approx. 54:00 hours

### Functional mode with broad beam

  * High: 350 lumens, burn time of approx. 8:00 hours
  * Medium: 70 lumens, burn time of approx. 24:00 hours
  * Red light: 5 lumens, burn time of approx. 100:00 hours
  * SOS flashing mode: 5 lumens, burn time of approx. 200:00 hours

*The burn time of the highest light mode is calculated at the moment the lamp is switched on in the highest mode. After 2-3 minutes, the lamp automatically switches to a lower mode due to the temperature regulation.

## Charging the Fenix HM60R

This head torch derives its power from the included 18650 Li-ion battery, but you can also use it with two CR123A batteries. You can easily charge the Fenix HM60R via the USB-C port that is hidden behind the rotary wheel. Within three hours you can fully charge the head torch. Want to know how full the battery is? As soon as the light is off click the switch once and the battery indicator will immediately give you the current battery voltage. As such you can find out how full or empty the battery is.

  * Constant green: 100% - 85% power
  * Flashing green: 85% - 50% power
  * Constant red: 50% - 25% power
  * Flashing red: 25% - 1% power

The Fenix HM60R comes with one Fenix 18650, 3400mAh Li-ion battery, usb-c charging cable, headband, light holder and a spare O-ring.

Fijne hoofdlamp, veel lichtstanden. Erg fel licht als het nodig is maar hij heeft ook een prettige brede lichtbundel met zacht warm licht. De lamp draagt ook prettig. Het rode licht is fijn als je je nachtzicht niet wil verpesten maar geeft voor mij iets te weinig licht om genoeg te zien.

Excellent bit of kit with powerful light and quick charge times.  Head strap has option of headband only or overhead strap as well ensuring compatibility with helmet or just around head whwn out walking. Easy on off switch and power level combined in one soft touch switch

Uitstekende hoofdlamp, voelt solide aan. Niet te zwaar, blijft goed en comfortabel zitten met de hoofdbanden. even wennen om te schakelen tussen de spot- en vloedmodus. (S.O.S. modus is een beetje overbodig )

I bought this with caving and mine exploration, which is an extremely harsh and unforgiving environment. Which involves mud, grid water and collision with rock (any caver will tell you it's not unusual to bump your helmet and headtorch into low ceilings etc). This torch has exceeded my expectations.
I increasingly now use it on the surface as well. Two words sum  this headtorch up, reliable and robust, which is what you want when underground and 4 hours from the entrance. It's virtually indestructible.
