My review is in two parts. Firstly the knife more than meets my expectations, with an exceptional guarantee and a high quality finish it will more than do the job. Plenty of YouTubers have tried to destroy this knife and failed. It does need to be cared for when wet, but that's not a problem. It is tough, well designed, and has a good pedigree coming from Randall survival. I like carbon steel, being stronger than stainless and easier to sharpen so it is good for me, but these things are very personal so all I can say is the knife suits me. Secondly, Knives and Tools, I rate them highly for mail order and ease of use of website. My order came on time, they advised me on despatch and kept me informed, which I like. I phoned them in the Netherlands on a second order and they were very helpful. So an excellent company to buy from.

Round a bit the handle corners. Take off a bit of the upper portion of the coating on the spine. Disassemble the handle, degrease, than apply "SICAFLEX" glue (better than epoxy for this job), tight the screws. Done... Now you got one of the best Survival knife ever made... Not the best in a "salt water environmental"... But i like it...

I have always looked to get this knife as it has so many great reviews by reputable people. It has not disappointed and I strongly recommend this knife for all outdoor activities

I was so hyped for this knife, between everyone I know that has one and also through YouTube channels I regularly watch, the Esee 6 is highly thought of. Upon delivery I must say the knife was a little larger than I expected which was good. It feels nice in the hand, the weight and balance are pretty good and the handles are very comfortable. The blade wasn't as sharp as I had hoped (I've watched unboxing videos of this knife and the claims are its razor sharp, it certainly wasn't) but after a few minutes with a fine, hard metal polishing compound and a few passes on a leather strop it was shaving sharp and ready to go. Its disappointing that you have to buy the sheath separately but a blessing in disguise at the same time as its not forced me to make a nice leather sheath for it. However, until I make the sheath I can't take the knife anywhere. All round though it was easy to make super sharp and when I finally get it out into the woods I have a feeling it will perform admirably.
