The ESEE Model 4 is a solid survival knife with a blade of 1095 carbon steel. The extremely durable powder coating on the blade helps protect against the larger rust susceptibility known to carbon steel. The great performance of the steel guarantee a life long pleasure. The full tang blade features a G10 handle. This handgrip feels somewhat rough, which is good for grip and comfort. The ESEE 4 is large enough to give good space to your hands, without looking enormous.  
  


The handle is equipped with an elevation for your index finger. This knife has such a fantastic grip, that you don't understand why other knives need a full row of curves in the handle to feel that comfortable. Also the heel of the blade features such a curve. This curve serves as a resting place for your thumb, to give a solid grip. The ridges on the top are exactly at the right place for your thumb. This way the knife is very good to steer and can be used for, for example, food preparation.  
  


A sheath is not included in delivery. They are available as accessories in different designs. Also in this area you need to use the correct type for your application. Of course the different versions share the quality and multi functionality of all the products by ESEE Knives.

Chi conosce i prodotti ESEE, sa cosa acquista ma i prezzi sono schizzati alle stelle soprattutto per wuanto riguarda la configurazione completa di fodero. 
Impugnatura un po’ piccola per mani medio grandi ma nel complesso un ottimo coltello da backup. 
Versione in g10 un po’ più slim nella manicatura rispetto al cugino in micarta. Verniciatura lama OD Green fatta a regola. Nel complesso, soddisfatto.

je possede deja un ese5 que je trouvais un peu lourd, celui ci est plus petit mais plus éauilibré, les deux se completent donc, j'aime aussi le coté flashy du manche qui permet de le retrouver plus facilement le cas echeant, ce n'est pas un couteau de combat au sens strict et donc c'est tres bien ainsi
