The ESEE Izula II is, just like the Izula, named after an aggressive ant which lives in the Peruvian jungle. This is done to indicate that, despite the limited dimensions, this knife should not be underestimated. The ESEE Izula II is a versatile and small fixed knife. The handle is just slightly wider than that of the Izula and has a micarta handle. This has a pleasant structure to provide good grip. This is an excellent alternative for those who are looking for the strength of a fixed knife, but find the handle of the Izula on the small side.  
   


The blade of the Izula II is made of 1095 carbon steel. This is a very strong type of steel, which is easy to sharpen. This steel is a bit more sensitive to rust, but in practice this will not really bother you, as the blade is finished with a high quality powder coating. It remains wise to keep this knife dry and possibly oil it a bit at times.  
   


The included plastic sheath, as all ESEE Knives sheaths, is fantastically designed. The knife is well clamped and will not spontaneously fall out.

Ik heb maandenlang getwijfeld wat voor een vast edc mes het best bij mij past.
Het is uiteindelijk de Izula geworden.
Wat een fantastisch en vlijmscherp mes, heb er nog geenmoment spijt van gehad.
Het is mij eerste esee mes, maar er volgen er wel meer denk ik.
Ben eigenlijk een Tops fan, maar met deze Izula wordt de kwaliteit zeker geevenaard.

Perfect little knife. Powerful and very sharp. Elite grip. Feels sturdy and safe to use. I've been getting deep, precise cuts through cloth and cardboard. Makes life easier for everyday small jobs. I would also trust this knife with bigger jobs and tougher materials. Also, the sharpness of the tip is no joke. 

Très bon petit couteau : robuste, petit, léger et ergonomique. Il remplace mon ESEE 4HM quand le poids et l'encombrement sont contraints.

Fantastic blade. I've really given it a hammering and it has not dissapointed.
