The **CRKT Symmetry** is a cool EDC pocket knife, designed by Richard Rogers. Characterizing about this knife is its opening mechanism. You open it with the front flipper. You can easily do so with one hand. A real lock is missing: this is a slipjoint. It does offer some resistance when closing, but it is not a real lock.



Rogers designed the Symmetry as such to make sure you can legally carry it almost anywhere. Because it is a slipjoint pocket knife, and because the blade is only 6.9 cm long. With it you can visit many places in Europe.



The materials used are a familiar combination: a handle made from strong stainless steel enhanced with a FRN plastic inlay with a fine texture. The blade is made from 8Cr13MoV-steel. A stainless type of steel that is easy to sharpen.

I quite like this knife! The double detent mechanism works well enough (a bit jumpy on the closing maybe); it's decently sharp, the faux-carbon fiber inserts look and feel quite nice. And it's really fun to fidget with!
Not sure how much I love the blue anodizing on the screws and clip. 8CR13 is a reasonable and budget-friendly choice; perfect for small tasks (opening packaging and what have you). 

I just love crkt symmetry! Its nice lookin and sharp,thin blade. The profile on The knife is slim,deep carry,light and really addictive to fidgget IT open and close,thanks to smooth action.. it opens letters,boxes etc.
