The CRKT Hissatsu is designed for tactical purposes. The pocket knife is small enough to always carry with you and strong enough to endure tough conditions. The shape of the blade is reminiscent of a classic Samurai design, which makes it suitable for various purposes. 
  
  

For fast opening, CRKT has installed the OutBurst system. This means that, as soon as you open the blade for about 30 degrees, it automatically opens entirely. This mechanism can also be disabled by means of a screw. This mechanism may take some getting used to in the beginning, but it's easy enough to master quickly. 
  
  

The CRKT Hissatsu also features the AutoLAWKS safety system, to make it equally strong as a fixed blade. This system is sort of a double lock, through which it is nearly impossible to close the blade accidentally. Because of the disc ont he blade, the knife is easy to open with one hand. 
  
  

All in all, you can describe the CRKT Hissatsu as a strong tactical knife for all-round use.

I have many things to say about this knife. The auto lock mechanism works, feels a handful in hand and the snap the blade does when locking is quite ominous (as loud as an OTF). That being said osorakuzukuri is a shape you have to know how to use. The main problem is CRKT AUS8 is VERY hard and seldom the grind is totally off. If you understand this is not an edc, and requires a good deal of time to reshape, get it, otherwise look towards the Inazuma no Ken, the most recent from Williams, more elegant shape, D2 steel and bolt lock make it a seriously reliable weapon.

Een aanrader.  Mes is vlijmscherp en opent razendsnel.

Fantastisch tactisch mes.
Met de outburst assist opening is het nog
sneller open dan een knipmes. Hoewel het
niet als EDC utility knife kan beschouwd worden
is het een ‘must have’ voor verzamelaars.
Ik bezit ook de Hissatsu fixed blade en samen
met de folder is dit een TOP DUO !!!

Véél sneller aangekomen dan verwacht. Tineke van de customer service heeft ons zeer goed voorgelicht dus zéker tot de volgende keer.
