The **Cold Steel Secret Edge 11SDT** is a compact neck knife, based on the traditional Scottish*Sgian-dubh*. This is a knife that is traditionally worn in the stocking underneath a Scottish kilt. The name 'secret edge' is a translation of the Gaelic name *sgian-dubh.* The knife was traditionally used as an EDC knife. So for food prep, and other daily tasks. Today the sgian-dubh is mostly worn during ceremonial occasions as a part of the traditional Scottish costume.

 This doesn't mean that the Cold Steel Secret Edge is not meant to be used. The blade is made from AUS8A. A great type of steel that is easy to sharpen and is not affected by rust. The handle is made from Griv-Ex. A glass-reinforced plastic that is light-weight and strong.

 You don't have to carry the Cold Steel Secret Edge in your boot: it comes with a plastic sheath with neck cord.

Pracht mes, maar lemmet zou wat dikker mogen. Algehele afwerking, ook van de schede zeker functioneel, maar kan gezien de prijs iets meer ''premium''.

Heb al veel messen bij knives and tools gekocht. Steeds een goede prijs en kwaliteits verhouding. De keuze is ook zeer uitgebreid. De verzending is perfect. Als ik ergens een mes van een  bepaald merk zie ga ik ook steeds op de site van K.A.T kijken. Een echte aanrader voor de mes liefhebber

Ein historisches Messer im modernen Gewand. Es könnte gut sein. KÖNNTE. Keine Ahnung was sich Cold Steel da gedacht hat, aber es kommt erstmal so stumpf an, da kannst mit dem nacktem Hintern drauf nach Rom reiten. Die Wärmebehandlung vom AUS8 Stahl ist so grottenschlecht, daß Du schärfen kannst wie Du willst, einmal in der Scheide und wieder herausgezogen, legt sich die Kante um. Das Ding ist leider zu nichts zu gebrauchen. Schade. 

Originale, ottimo utensile da sopravvivenza (in pratica è una punta di lancia). Manca una minima protezione (sufficiente una zigrinatura) del dito vicino alla lama.

Un couteau de cou sobre et efficace. Le design est sympa, l'étui est de bonne qualité et l'aspect tacticool est un plus. Une bonne lame.
