The popular Recon 1 has now come in a very small version: the Micro Recon 1. It shares a lot of features with its' big brother: the indestructible Tri-Ad lock, the G10 handles and the AUS8A-steel blade with a black coating. The thumb stud ensures that also this little knife can be opened with one hand. Despite the dimensions, the biggest difference with the large version is the fact that the pocket clip has been replaced by a keychain ring. The blade of this version is tanto-shaped.

prima mes vanuit de kwaliteit maar voor mij is deze toch te klein door de tanto punt blijft er nog 3,5 cm snijvlak over. hij ligt door zijn kleine formaat ook niet echt lekker in de hand. maar als je op zoek bent naar een klein mesje voor in je zak is dit een prima dozen opener.

One always gets what it says or better than description. I’ve been dealing with this sight for many years , could depend on every thing I’ve bought over years. 

Ik heb al veel mesjes van dit formaat geprobeerd, maar dit is de eerste die echt eenhandig te openen is (helemaal als die aan de sleutelbos hangt: dat geeft net iets meer grip). Verder hartstikke scherp. Super koop!

Ik heb dit zakmes gekocht om het in mijn broekzak te kunnen dragen zonder dat mensen het meteen opvalt.
Daar is dit mes zeer geschikt voor gezien het kleine formaat.
Let wel op dat er geen lock mechanisme op zit voor het OPENEN van het mes. Desondanks is het nog niet open gegaan in mijn broek zak.
Het is uitermate scherp en ik heb het met plezier gebruikt om pakjes te openen, draadjes te snijden en fruit te snijden.
Dit laatste (fruit snijden) kan nog wel een uitdaging zijn vanwege het kleine lemmet. Maar dat krijg je nu eenmaal bij zo'n klein discreet mes.
Al met al, zeer tevreden over!
