The Civivi Yonder C23073B-1 14C28N, Dark Green Micarta, pocket knife is a cool EDC knife in the colour black. With its blade length of 7.3 cm, this knife is suitable for daily cutting tasks. For example, opening boxes, peeling an apple, the odd job around the house: this pocket knife can do it all.



Opening the Civivi Yonder C23073B-1 14C28N, Dark Green Micarta, pocket knife with one hand is very easy thanks to the thumb stud. Once opened, the sturdy Crossbar Lock ensures that the blade is locked and won't accidentally close during use. A cool feature of this lock is that it can be easily used by both left-handed and right-handed users.

The name 'Crossbar Lock' is a generic term for locks of this type. The foundation of this mechanism was the Axis Lock as developed by Benchmade. Today, several manufacturers happily make use of the same mechanism, though sometimes under different names.

The blade of the Civivi Yonder C23073B-1 14C28N, Dark Green Micarta, pocket knife is made of 14C28N. This is an excellent knife steel from Sweden. It is corrosion resistant, retains its sharpness well, is quite tough and easy to sharpen yourself. What more could you possibly want?



The blade features a blackwashed finish. For this finish, the blade is first finished with a coating, then tumbled. This makes the blade look like it has been around for a while, kind of like jeans. A big advantage of this is that traces of use will be much less noticeable.



## Micarta handle

The handle of this Civivi Yonder is made of micarta and measures 9.5 cm in length. Micarta is a great material for pocket knife handles. This material is grippy, relatively lightweight and it looks very cool. It is composed of fabric fibres and synthetic resin. The resulting layers often even make micarta look a bit like wood. However, it is a very stable and strong material.

Tolles Messer als EDC, sehr leicht und schneidet ausgezeichnet. 

Perfect EDC mesje. 

Compact formaat, lekker licht, degelijke materialen, axis lock. Beter mesje ga je voor de prijs niet vinden. 

De form van het lemmet is vrij uniek en ik ben fan.

Was benieuwd wat hij er van heeft gemaakt en heb het mes besteld.
Heb er even op moeten wachten maar was niet teleurgesteld toen ik het kreeg. Heb het nu een paar weken in gebruik en het bevalt goed. Het is licht van gewicht en blijft redelijk lang scherp. Het is natuurlijk maar een klein mes, maar voor de dagelijkse klusjes rond het huis is het een handig mes. Kan het aanbevelen.
