The **Benchmade Bugout 535BK-4 Aluminium, Cerakote M390** is a bold version of the famous Bugout. The original Bugout was made to be super practical, especially for hikers, who pay close attention to every gram. Like its predecessor, this Bugout is extremely lightweight, weighing only 70 grams. But now as a premium edition. Perfect for an enthusiast who is looking for the best of the best.

The Bugout 535BK-4 features aluminium scales with a sunburst pattern. The stonewashed finish on the handle gives the knife a cool, "rough" look. This finish also masks scratches well. The blade is made from premium M390 steel with a cerakote coating. This is a high-end steel with exceptional sharpness retention. The purple-red thumb studs and standoffs provide a nice contrast with the black blade and the silver handle.

This version of the Bugout is equipped with an Axis lock. It also has a short deep-carry pocket clip. This allows you to carry the knife in the inside pocket of your jacket or the pocket of your jeans. You can place the clip on either side, making it the perfect knife for both left-handed and right-handed use.​

Het is een uniek mes in de zin dat het super licht, compact en tegelijk toch uitzonderlijk handzaam aanvoelt. Prachtige, tijdloze vormgeving. 
Maar wel gewoon totaal overpriced. Ook net iets te veel speling op het mes (om toch nog een soepele werking te hebben), Uit de doos kwam het mes ook totaal off-center, en zo stroef als wat. Niet wat je verwacht van een so-called 'premium' versie. De zwarte ceracoat is ook maar zo-zo.  En toch zou ik m niet meer wegdoen, om de eerst genoemde redenen.

Mooi EDC Zakmes, ultra licht, mooi afgewerkt solide mes. Benschmade is altijd erg stevig aan de prijs, wat mij betreft in vergelijking tot andere merken zou dit zakmes voor €199,- ruim voldoende geprijst zijn.

Magnifique EDC très belle qualité, juste un peu trop cher. La boite de présentation fait chiche comparé à des concurrents moins chers tels que Civivi.

Amazing knife, incredibly comfortable grip despite my large hands, and feels like it is built like a tank unlike the regular bugouts. Great materials and very fidgety.  
I did get it for around 230 euros but the action was lacking and took a lot of tweaks to fix and the blade was really not at all sharp, would barley slice thick paper. Makes me think it was a used/returned product sold without servicing.
