The **ANV M311 Spelter** is a cool survival knife, made in the Czech Republic by Acta Non Verba Knives. A robust knife, made from extreme situations. Developed in cooperation with operators from different parts of the Czech Armed Forces. They tested this knife all over the world. From freezing circumstances over the Arctic circle to the sweltering heat of South-East Asia.

The edge is nice and balanced in terms of shape and, as such, very versatile. A relatively pointed tip, a round belly and large part that is nice and straight. As such the M311 Spelter will feel at home anywhere.

The blade is made from Elmax steel. A high-end type of steel that retains its sharpness well. It is also corrosion resistant. ANV used a very sustainable DLC coating for this edition. It is matt, so the blade hardly reflects light.

The handle is made from micarta. A fine material made from canvas and synthetic resin. It feels great in hand and offers enough grip. Even more so thanks to the fine grooves that were added to the surface. In wet circumstances micarta stands out even more. The fibres expand providing you with even more grip.

The ANV Knives M311 Spelter comes with a tight kydex sheath. It is enhanced with two MOLLE clips to make sure you can hang it from a MOLLE or PALS compatible bag or vest. You also use these clips when you carry it on your belt.

## Acta Non Verba Knives

Acta Non Verba, or ANV Knives, is based in the Czech Republic and produces excellent knives for amazing prices. The designs are carefully thought out and the finish is great. Especially in this price range. You immediately recognize the knives by their sleek designs. They have flowing lines and a distinctly modern look. Slightly different from other brands, and therefore unique.

Bardzo ciekawy nóż do zastosowań taktycznych. Wykonanie i ergonomia na bardzo wysokim poziomie. Doskonale okładki uchwytu z frezowanymi skośnymi rowkami, dzięki którym nóż nie może wyślizgnąć się z dłoni, nawet przy ciężkich pracach i mokrych dłoniach. Dla dłoni w rozmiarze L wielkość noża jest idealna. Pochwa kydex bardzo dobrze dopasowana. Jestem zadowolony z tego zakupu.

It is a serious tactical knife made of a suitable quality steel that meets almost all requirements for a tactical knife.  One main negative is its price and another perhaps its rather rough for the hand grip.

Ik welleens eerder een mes van ANV knives gekocht en van wat ik uit mijn vorige mes had gehaald, kan ik echt met zekerheid zeggen dat we het hier over professionals hebben, op het gebied van messen en het ontwerpen van deze.

En dat geldt ook voor dit mes, hij is geweldig, super goed staal, heerlijke handgreep. 

Dit mes is gemaakt om te gebruiken, en zal je zeker niet in de steek laten.
