This **Zero Tolerance 0640WBW Factory Special Edition** is a cool Factory Special edition. Only produced a limited amount of times. Enhanced with a 20CV steel blade and titanium scales with blackwashed finish. This special edition is also enhanced with black carbon fibre inlay.

The Zero Tolerance 0640 was designed by Ernest Emerson. This American knife maker is one of the pioneers in the pocket knife world. This Zero Tolerance 640 is a very interesting design. Very Emerson, but also different from his usual designs.

The 640 is enhanced with a handle that will truly fit in every hand. All because Emerson made sure the handle is slightly 'convex'. There are also no imperative finger grooves which means that there are different ways of holding the knife. In terms of construction, thick titanium liners were added, which are flanked by carbon fibre scales. This carbon fibre, however, is very special: it is enhanced with a green glow. Zero Tolerance is one of the first large knife companies that experiments which coloured carbon fibre.

You can open the knife with the thumb disc on the spine of the blade. This disc is enhanced with a rough structure for more grip. As such you can easily and quickly open it with your thumb. While you expect most Zero Tolerance knives to work with ball bearings, the 640 is enhanced with phosphor bronze washers. Nice and solid and easy to maintain! The blade is made from CPM 20CV. A robust type of steel that retains its sharpness well. When opened a solid linerlock will lock the blade. Because of the thickness of the liners you could almost call it a framelock. Of course the titanium lockbar is enhanced with a steel insert that prevents wear and tear in the (very) long run.
