The **Zero Tolerance 0055BLK** is a remarkable pocket knife, designed by Gustavo Cecchini of GTC-design. Not only does this pocket knife look amazing, it has also been enhanced with a remarkable openings mechanism. After all, you can open it with a flipper. Nothing new, you could say. However, the flipper on the 0055BLK is slightly different. After all, it folds away with a spring when the knife is opened. When closed a spring will also keep the flipper out of sight. First you pull the flipper out a bit, through the tension of the spring, after which it will work like a regular flipper. Cecchini called it the SLT-system.

 This version of the 0055 is a special *Sprint Run*. The handle has a black coating and is enhanced with a geometric pattern. In addition, the steel was changed to CPM 20CV for even better performances. Only a limited amount of this version are produced. While stocks last.

 It makes the knife look a little like a type of *Transformer*. The blade is made from CPM 20CV-steel. A powder metallurgical steel that is incredibly stainless and retains its sharpness well. Cecchini designed the blade with a compound grind. This means that the back half of the blade is thicker than the front half. As such you use the back half for things that require more force and the front part for the detailed jobs.

 The handle is milled out of titanium. Here you can also find the characteristic geometric Cecchini lines. Even the pivot has been adorned with a nice finish. Even though it has a lot of straight lines and sharp angles it still feels great in hand. Facets and grip ridges were placed in just the right places. A well thought-out design.
