This **Wüsthof Classic peeling knife/paring knife 10 cm**  is a
classic in the kitchens of many amateur and professional chefs. Small enough
for the more detailed tasks, and large enough to cut
vegetables and fruit. It is a real all-rounder.

## Wüsthof Classic blade: razor-sharp stainless steel


The blade made from chromium-vanadium steel (X50CrMoV15) is forged from one solid piece of steel. It is sharpened according to Wüsthof’s PEtec technology. This means that for each blade a sharpening angle is determined with the help of a computer. Afterwards it is precisely sharpened on a wet sharpening stone. After thorough inspection each knife leaves the production line, ready for a life of intensive use.


Wüsthof processes the steel in a specific way to make sure it has a high hardness of 58 Rockwell. As such the knife retains its sharpness for a really long time. However, if you notice that the knife is not as sharp as it used to be, all you have to do is move it over a honing steel. The result is a razor-sharp knife that is amazing to use.


## Wüsthof Classic handle: sustainable and hygienic


This knife is a combination of a forged blade and an ergonomic handle made from black POM, a very sustainable type of plastic. The handle can withstand all substances you find in the kitchen. The handle was traditionally and seamlessly riveted to the blade with three rivets. As such dirt can never accumulate in between the blade and the handle. The crop protects your fingers from unnecessary contact with the edge. What more could you possibly ask for?


## Wüsthof Classic: the classic Wüsthof collection


The Classic is the most extensive Wüsthof collection on the market today. It is comprised of over 80 different kitchen knives, amongst which different sizes of chef’s knives, bread knives and carving knives. Because this collection has the most versions of all possible knives, you can easily comprise your own perfect knife set. A knife set with a knife block of chef’s case is, of course, also an option.


Both amateur and professional chef’s love working with these kitchen knives. They are enhanced with the NSF hygiene mark.

Bonne prise en main, le manche un peu cour pour ma main, mais bon couteau.

Wij zijn heel tevreden met deze messen, ze zijn echt messcherp.
Groentjes, vlees, vis,... - en dergelijke zijn in 1 mesbeweging gesneden.
Een paar tips om je mes te beschermen:
1 Was het mes als eerste of als laatste in je gewone pompbak ipv in de vaatwas. 
2 berg het mes na gebruik gewoon op in het meegeleverde doosje, zo is de messnede berschermd en ook veilig buiten bereik van kinderen. (stel je voor dat ze je keukenlade opentrekken en met hun vingers in het mes zitten, dit wil je niet meemaken) 
Je betaalt wat, maar het is kwaliteit!
