The **WE Knife Mote 2005** is a compact and light-weight pocket knife, designed by Ostap Hel. The perfect companion to take with you on a daily basis. Due to its compact size and weight, you hardly notice that you have it with you. It is a practical knife which is very usable despite its modest size.



You quickly open this knife with the flipper. Because of the ceramic ball bearings and WE Knife's superior production quality it moves easily. When opened the blade is blocked by a solid framelock with steel insert. As such the lock will function perfectly for years.



A compact knife can still be heavy if you don't use the right materials. Fortunately WE Knife did a wonderful job with this knife. The handle, for instance, is made from light-weight aluminium and rock-solid titanium The inside of the scales is milled out to save weight. The blade is made from CPM S35VN. This a good type of American steel that retains its sharpness well, is corrosion resistant and also easy to sharpen. To make sure the blade truly matched the rest of this compact, light pocket knife WE Knife made sure it is only 2.6 mm thick. In addition to the primary grind WE Knife enhanced the spine of the blade with a royal 'swedge'. This is a type of 'false' edge that ensures the spine of the blade is thinner. It doesn't only look cool you also save weight. Because of this attention paid to details WE Knife made sure the knife does not weigh more than 60 grams. Unheard of!
