The **The James brand - The Wayland** is a modern interpretation of the classic Barlow pattern. One of the most famous and most popular traditionals. The classic pocket knives your grandfather used to own. This Wayland is totally up to date thanks to the sleek lines and modern materials.



You open the Wayland with two hands. And a slipjoint ensures it won't accidentally close during use. Not a real lock, merely some resistance. As such you can legally carry the Wayland in many places in Europe. The liners and bolsters are made from titanium. A light-weight material that is also used in the aviation and aerospace industry.



All materials used are very modern. The blade is made from CPM S35VN. This is a premium type of steel that was developed in cooperation with a couple leading, American knife makers. It retains its sharpness for a long time, is relatively tough and easy to sharpen. Great features for a knife you use on a daily basis.
