The Steel Will Druid 230 is a lightweight machete. The blade is made of 9Cr18MoV steel. This type of steel looks a lot like 440C and AUS10. The steel runs through the entire handle for added strength. A small piece of this steel comes out at the back of the handle which is suitable to be used as a hammer. The blade width is 4.8 mm pretty slim for a knife of this type. This also explains the low weight of only 320 grams, which is very light for a machete. Ideal to take with you on longer trips when you don't want to walk around with too heavy luggage. The handle of thermoplastic elastomer comes with grooves for extra grip. The Druid 230 comes with a leather belt sheath.

J'ai un grand terrain derrière chez moi, et les ronces ont recouvert presque toute la place, au debut j'ai tenté avec un secateur mais j'ai laisser tombé vite fait c'etait extremement lent, ensuite j'ai acheter un mora 749 apres avoir constaté qu'un simple mora companion etait un peu court, et c'etait beaucoup mieux mais pour aller encore plus vite sur les grosses branches je me suis acheté une machette (une baleze en plus) mais c'est vachement plus lourd et on se fatigue 10 fois plus vite, en plus c'est tellement grand qu'on s'emmêle vite dans les ronces et on se pique, du coup le 749 etait mieux et donc, quand j'ai trouvé cette version druid 230 du couteau steel will je me suis dit que c'était peut être l'ideal pour moi, un genre de 749 mais un peu plus lourd et sans être beaucoup plus grand, alors c'est sûr c'est pas le même prix qu'un mora et pourtant je me demande si l'acier 12C27 du 749 est, ou pas, de meilleure qualité que le 9Cr18Mov du druid 230, mais en tout cas la finition est largement meilleure sur le druid et sa lame est beaucoup plus solide, surtout qu'elle traverse entièrement le manche. Et dernier point, l'étui en cuir offre une très bonne rétention, en plus il est vraiment beau et de bonne qualité (rien à voir avec le morceau de plastique dur qui sert d'etui au mora 749)
J'ai trouvé mon coupe-coupe idéal, peut etre que j'essayerai les version plus courte à l'occasion
