What made me buy this knife was the blade shape...very similar to a sheep legging blade...great for legging deer or anything for that matter....strong and heavy for cutting brisket and removing legs...shanks...just a great all round hunting knife...the scabbard is perfect for relocation inthe dark and when it gets blood and fat inside just run under hot tap...the only thing to made it perfect....make a super steel version...ie ...cpm or elmax...and don't paint it black...
