The length of the holder and stones are perfectly aligned to make sure the stones are nicely secured. The decent sharpening stone holder is comprised of multiple layers of stacked glass sheets. This doesn't only look really stylish, it also slightly lifts the stones. As such you have more room for your fingers making the sharpening process a little more comfortable. In addition, the glass sheets add additional weight to make sure the sharpening stone holder is quite heavy (550 grams). As a result the sharpening stone is less inclined to shift during the sharpening process. The rubber anti-slip feet ensure that the holder doesn't slide during use at all. Incredibly practical!
