The **Petzl DUO Z2 head torch** is robust and very powerful. This ATEX head torch is enhanced with the Face2Face function. Combined with a powerful 430 lumens, this light is truly perfect! The Petzl DUO Z2 is waterproof and can handle shocks and accidental drops. 

The great thing about the Petzl DUO Z2 is the four different LED lights. These leave you with a spread and focused beam. They can also be used at the same time.

This makes the head torch highly versatile. The wide beam is ideal for tasks within a close proximity. The combined light beam is perfect for moving around in the dark. because you can see enough up close as well as far away. The highly focused beam is perfect when you need far-reaching illumination.

Switching between light modes is easy with the rotary knob. Even while wearing gloves.

### Light modes for the Petzl DUO Z2

  * Low: 50 lumens, burn time of approx. 15:30 hours
  * Medium: 120 lumens, burn time of approx. 6:45 hours
  * High: 220 lumens, burn time of approx. 2 hours
  * Boost: 430 lumens, burn time of approx. 5 seconds each time
  * Back-up: 10 lumens, burn time of approx. 1 hour

The torch is ATEX certified for zone 1/21. As such the light can be used in potentially explosive surroundings. Because of the plastic casing, this torch is relatively lightweight. The light comes with an additional clip to make sure you can mount it on a helmet. This torch meets the IP67 waterproof standard. This means that it can be kept 1 metre underwater for 30 minutes. 

## Face2Face function

With the Face2Face anti-glare function, users of the Petzl DUO Z2 head torch can face each other without dazzling each other. The light automatically dims when two or more beams intersect. The lamp switches to the original brightness as soon as the other lamp has disappeared from the field of vision. 

For optimal comfort you also carry the battery pack on the back of your head. The Petzl DUO Z2 comes with a removable, washable headband and a system for attaching the torch to a helmet.

## ATEX LED torch

There are many different levels of ATEX certification. The Petzl PIXA 1 has the following certifications: II 3 GD Ex nA ic IIB T4 Gc / tc IIIC T135°C Dc.

The casing is made from explosion-proof and anti-static plastic. This means there is no risk of sparks if you drop it. The yellow colour makes it easy to find under any circumstances.
