This **Opinel boning carving knife 13 cm, N°122** is part of the French brand's Parallèle POP series. The collection has the same properties as the 'regular' Parallèle series, but with a cheerful colour added to the handle. For instance, this boning knife has a partially red handle. Opinel also refers to this boning knife as a 'meat & poultry knife', and with good reason. The knife has a relatively short blade, made for cutting out tendons and fat and separating meat from bone.


## Opinel Parallèle POP: colourful kitchen knives


Opinel has become well-known for its iconic pocket knives, but you can also use this French brand's distinctive knives in the kitchen. The Parallèle POP series kitchen knives have an X50CrMov15 steel blade. This type of steel is stainless and very reliable. The beech wood handle is treated with a cheerful colour and a layer of lacquer. The lacquer layer protects the wood, so the knives can also be washed in the dishwasher. However, we still recommend cleaning the knives by hand.
