The **Nitecore TM9K tactical flashlight** is a compact hulk. The nine Cree XP-L HDV6 LED lights provide 9500 lumens and a very broad beam. In combination with a length of 12.5 cm this is truly unheard of! As such the light is great for self-defence, search ops, rescue missions and for law enforcement.

 ## How to use the Nitecore TM9K

 The switch on the Nitecore Tm9K can also easy be used while wearing gloves. The tactical switch has a momentary-on-function. Hold the tactical switch down and the light will momentarily turn the highest mode on. As soon as you press it down completely the light will continue to burn. With the second switch (MODE) you select the desired light mode. When you hold the MODE button down you activate the turbo mode. By releasing the switch you immediately return to the mode last used.

 The flashlight is enhanced with an instant stroboscope function for when you need to act quickly. Press the MODE button twice and the light will immediately switch to the stroboscope mode. Thanks to the memory of the light it will always start with the mode last used. This also applies to the stroboscope mode. This makes it extra appealing for, for instance, security personnel or cops.

 ### Light modes on the Nitecore TM9K

 * Turbo: 9500 lumens
* High: 1900 lumens, burn time of 3 hours*
* Medium: 460 lumens, burn time of approx. 4 hours and 30 minutes
* Low: 130 lumens, burn time of 14 hours
* Ultra-low: 30 lumens, burn time of approx. 60 hours
* Strobe: 9500 lumens

 *The burn time of the highest mode is calculated at the moment the lamp is switched on in the highest position. After 2-3 minutes, the lamp automatically switches to the lower light mode due to temperature regulation.

Of course you don't accidentally want the light to turn on. To ensure it doesn't you can use the lock-out mode. To activate this mode the flashlight needs to be turned on. First you press down the MODE button, after which you press the tactical switch. Release them both at the same time. The light will confirm the mode by flashing another time. Now the flashlight will never burn if you don't want it to. To deactivate this mode you click the MODE button three times. The light will then start in the light mode last used.

 ## Charging the Nitecore TM9K

 The Nitecore Tm9K is enhanced with a built-in 21700, 5000mAh Li-Ion battery. Because the battery is built-in, you never have to exchange the batteries. In addition, the light is better protected against water and dust. Want to know how full the battery is? As soon as you use the switch the battery indicator will blink up to four times. Four times means full, one time means almost empty. As such you can find out how full or empty the battery is.

 The head of the light contains a USB-C port. A rubber cover ensures that the head is protected against water and dust. A such the USB-port also cannot be damaged. It will take up to 5 hours before the battery is completely charged.

 ## Accessories for the Nitecore TM9K

 The Nitecore Tm9K comes with a pocket clip, wrist strap, USB-C charging cable and a nylon holster. ## Intelligent protection

 If you use the turbo mode for a longer period of time the light will start to heat up. When the light reaches a temperature of 65 degrees Celsius or higher, the light will automatically drop the amount of lumen to lower the temperature. As soon as the temperature drops the light will switch back to the turbo mode.
