The **MKM Fara** is a modern slipjoint, designed by Lucas Burnley. The Fara offers a elegant combination between classic characteristics of the modern slipjoint, but is also complemented by a top-quality finish and sleek, modern lines.


This is a special **Knivesandtools Exclusive** with a handle made from decent brass. Slightly heavier than the normal version, and the brass will form a patina in time. As such each knife will become unique. This knife also comes with a sticker that was exclusively produced for this knife. This version is only sold at Knivesandtools. Be there before it is too late: it is only available while stocks last!


Designer Burnley gave the blade a clippoint-like shape. On the presentation side the blade has been enhanced with a large groove that offers you enough traction to neatly open the knife with two hands. MKM chose Böhler M390 steel for this knife. This is a type of steel that retains its sharpness well and is incredibly wear-resistant. It is also very stainless. One of the most popular choices at the moment. When opened a slipjoint will neatly keep it open. And yet you can still easily close it: it only offers resistance, not a lock. As such you can legally carry it with you almost anywhere.


The MKM Fara comes in a leather sheath with belt loop. The leather is nice and supply to make sure you can also carry it as a slip sheath in your pocket.


## Where does MKM Knives come from?


MKM is a cooperation between Viper, LionSteel, Fox and Mercury. Four masters working in the Italian knife industry. It is no coincidence that they all come from the city: Maniago, northern Italy. The knife capital of the south of Europe. MKM stands for Maniago Knife Makers. This MKM Fara is made by Mercury.
