The **Medford Praetorian Scout** is a large and robust pocket knife, produced by Medford Knife & Tool in the United States. This Scout version of Medford's famous Praetorian is slightly more affordable. The scales are made from G10 and enhanced with a titanium liner that takes care of the lock.

Medford added a couple of subtle engravings in the G10 scales. They also came up with something clever with the pocket clip: underneath the clip the G10 is flattened. As such it is a little softer for your pocket.

D2 is a tool steel that will always require maintenance and oil. Some budget knives use D2 as a cheap option with a rudimentary heat treatment. Medford, however, does whatever it can to turn D2 into an amazing type of steel with excellent qualities. So definitely not a budget option!

Each Medford knife is made by hand by talented knife makers. Individual differences therefore occur and make each knife unique. It takes approximately one year for Medford to ship their knives. Knives that are listed as in stock on our website are available and can be shipped immediately. So make sure you don't miss out: it might take a while for new stock to arrive!
