The **Lupine Penta 5700K** is a rechargeable head torch with a maximum output of 1000 lumens. This compact head torch has 5 LEDs and different light modes, which makes it suitable for a wide array of activities including running, climbing and camping. It's quick and easy to operate with the two buttons on top of the head torch.


The light beam of the Lupine Penta 5700K is wide and diffuse. This head torch is equipped with two red LEDs and three white LEDs. The LEDs can be switched on individually or simultaneously. On the lowest light mode, the Lupine Penta 5700K has an impressive burn time of up to 120 hours!


The Lupine Penta 5700K is made of anodised aluminum alloy. Not only does this make the torch very sturdy, it also effectively dissipates the heat that the LEDs generate. This head torch can really take a beating. It can survive a fall heigh of 2 metres, and is waterproof to a depth of 2 metres. You can charge this head torch via the included USB-C cable.

Na eerst een Fenix hm70r geprobeerd te hebben die simpelweg niet beviel vanwegen teveel gewicht op het hoofd had.
Ben ik voor de deze Lupine Penta 5700k (5700 Kelvin staat voor de licht kleur ledlamp en bestaat ook in 4500 Kelvin wordt alleen niet verkocht door knives and tools)

Met een gewicht van 108 gram inclusief accu en hoofdband voelt deze niet zwaar aan het hoofd!
De hoofdband voelt comfortabel en degelijk aan.
De lamp voelt en ziet er solide uit dit komt ook door dat deels van de behuizing van aluminium is uitgevoerd.

De lamp geeft behoorlijk veel licht zowel wit als rood licht staan na genoeg gelijk aan elkaar kwa lichtsterkte.
Alleen wit is sterker in de hoger stand.

Wanneer je de lamp aanzet begint die altijd in de laagste lichtsterkte en is dit in het algemeen al meer dan voldoende en hoef je vaak niet eens feller te zetten om meer te kunnen zien.
Beiden kleur leds wit of rood gebruiken hun eigen schakelaar om aan te zetten.
Wanneer de lamp aanstaat kun je ook van kleur veranderen zonder eerst de lamp uit te zetten.

En wanneer de lamp leeg is laad je hem via USB-C op in 2 half uur is die dan weer vol en klaar voor gebruik.
Tijdens het opladen kun je de lamp ook aan zetten.
De lamp gaat en behoorlijke tijd mee voor die weer opgeladen moet worden dit hangt natuurlijk wel af in welke stand je hem gebruikt.


Het vergrendelen en ontgrendelen van de lamp werkt met twee knoppen tegelijk indrukken.
De kleur rood geeft dan aan dat die vergrendeld op slot staat.
En wit ontgrendeld.
Tijdens het op slot staan gaan er geen Leds meer branden zolang die op slot staat.

Het enige wat een klein beetje onhandig is de plek waar de usb stekker in gaat hier door zou je hem wel niet kunnen dragen tijdens opladen op het hoofd.
Dit had na mijn idee beter aan de zijkant kunnen zitten.
Maar dit is maar een zeer kleine detail.

Voor de rest doet die wat die moet doen namelijk wat donker is licht maken.
