The **LT Wright Overland Machete** is a large machete, made for outdoor use. Prune bushes, chop nettles or find a way through the dense vegetation of the wilderness. The Overland Machete can do it all.



LT Wright made sure the Overland Machete is very strong, without adding too much weight to the whole. The blade thickness is relatively modest. As such cutting through shrubs is a piece of cake. LT Wright also enhanced the handle with 'thumb scallops'. A type of cut-outs at the front of the handle that have enough room for your thumb. As such you have extra control and you will immediately feel how you are holding the knife. As such it is also perfect for bushcraft tasks. The handle also contains a couple lanyard tubes to make sure you can attach your favourite lanyard. The great advantage of a lanyard is that the knife won't easily slip from your hands during the more demanding tasks. Better safe than sorry!



LT Wright enhanced the blade with a special, etched patina. This patina is applied in two steps to temper the first, intense discolouration on the 1075 carbon steel. In time the patina will wear, change and discolour. It evolves and will show you the traces of use. As such each knife is unique.



## 1075 carbon steel blade


1075 is a tough, strong type of steel that is easy to sharpen. Even when you are out in the field with limited means. Do, however, be careful: 1075 is not completely stainless. As such it will discolour in time and form a patina. To avoid rust you need to clean it after use and occasionally add a couple drops of oil.



 The comfortable handle is made from micarta. A strong and light-weight material, made from linen and synthetic resin. Feels comfortable in hand, even in wet or cold circumstances.



This knife comes with a top-quality kydex sheath.

By hand 'grinds' or 'bevels' are added to the blades, the handles are glued together and shaped, and even the entire knife is finished by hand.
