This **Kai Shun Camellia oil** is perfect to maintain your carbon steel knives. For centuries this oil has been used in Japan to prevent rust. The Samurai even used this oil for their swords. If you occasionally add oil to the blade of your knives rust won't stand a chance. An indispensable accessory for all Kai Shun kitchen knives, but also great for knives from other brands.

 With the Camellia oil corrosion doesn't stand a chance with knives that are not enhanced with a stainless steel blade. The oil does not contain any paraffin. This special maintenance oil is extracted from the seeds of the camellia tree. Great when maintaining a knife you use to prepare food. But also for pocket knives and fixes knives made from carbon steel and tool steel. We, however, don't recommend this oil to grease the knives.
