 This version of the NYS has a titanium handle with a stunning inlay made from ironwood. The blade is made from S35VN steel and has a chic satin finish. S35VN is a great type of steel that retains its sharpness well and is corrosion resistant.

 You easily open the Phoenix with the milled nailnick, after which the solid slipjoint mechanism keeps the blade in place. The top-quality finish is definitely worth mentioning. J.E.
