The **Helle Saga Siglar 102** is a more compact version of the popular Helle Viking. That knife was once made after old Viking examples. This Saga Siglar was also made after finding an excavated Viking knife.

The handle is made from stunning birch wood. The handle was shaped, polished and oiled by hand to give it it's unique character. The blade is made from carbon steel. This is not stainless and therefore needs to be maintained. You do, however, receive a lot of toughness for it in return.

The knife comes with a traditional Scandinavian leather sheath.

**Maintenance** Both the handle and the blade need to be dried with a soft towel if they get wet. We also recommended occasionally adding wax or oil. The sheath should occasionally be impregnated with a colourless agent (grease or wax) to make sure it stays flexible. Dry the sheath carefully at room temperature if it gets wet.

All Helle knives are made and finished by hand. As such each knife is a unique masterpiece because every pattern is different. The black blade of this knife cannot be used for engravings. The results won't look good.
