The **Extrema Ratio Mato Grosso** is a tough machete, developed to cut through dense vegetation in the jungle. This machete, however, will not only excel in the jungle! Overgrown blackberry bushes, tall grass and other dense vegetation are no match for the Mato Grosso.




With a total length of 46 cm the Mato Grosso is not that long. As such you have a lot of control over the blade as you use it. The N690 steel blade begins in the handle at a thickness of 6.3 mm. Quite thick, even for a machete. The blade just in front of the handle is 4 mm thick. Quite a difference. Both in weight and cutting geometry. As such the Mato Grosso feels like a robust a solid machete, but is very refined in terms of use.




You can carry the *Extrema Ratio Mato Grosso* in the included nylon belt sheath. It is enhanced with MOLLE webbing to make sure you can hang it from a tactical vest or backpack.
