Als messenliefhebber nog nooit een coldsteel gehad.

En omdat er veel lovende woorden over de tri ad lock waren moest die er toch eens komen.
Al is het dan een budget variant geworden hij doet zeker niet onder voor veel duurdere messen.
Zou je er 80-100 euro voor vragen dan is hij dat ook waard.

Maar hij is maar rond de 35 euro.
Dus echt heel veel waar voor je geld.

Zoek je een werkmes waar je niet al te zuinig op hoeft te zijn is dit degene die je zoekt.
Ook als kado of als eerste (enige) mes een prima keus.

Ergonomie is meer dan prima.
Lekker licht en plat dus zeer draagbaar.
Handvat heeft genoeg grip.
Alles is keurig netjes afgewerkt en geen mankementen.
Lemmet heeft een lichte stonewash en zou voor mij standaard op alle messen mogen zitten.
Ik heb de tanto. Er zit een een hele kleine recurve in het lemmet geslepen.
Weet niet of dat alleen bij de mijne is of gewoon bij alle uitvoeringen.
Ik vind het niet storend.
Mesje is goed scherp maar hoe het Duitse staal het gaat doen weet ik nog niet.

Het aller grootste voordeel van dit mes is dat de lock up rock solid is.
In geopende stand is het net een vast mes.
Totaal geen speling.
En dat op een mesje voor 35 euro.
Bijna al mijn vouw messen hebben wel wat speling.
En dat zijn er vele.
Bij deze prolite nog helemaal niks.
Dus zeker een applaus voor de tri ad lock👍

Het enige nadeel van dit mes is wel dat hij niet super soepel is.
Geen speling maar ook zeker fidget mes.
Hij loopt erg zwaar en moet echt wel ff inlopen.
Ik heb hem nu al weken op zak en heb hem al heel vaak geopend en gesloten en hij begint al wat soepeler te worden.
Maar denk niet dat hij ooit zo soepel zal lopen als mijn spydercos of benchmades.
Maar die hebben dan wel wat speling en dat heeft deze blauwe smurf dus niet.

In combinatie met het zware lopen loopt hij ook een beetje rauw.

Maar vooral positief verrast door deze prolite.
Misschien wel de meeste waar voor het geld van al de vouwmessen  die ik bezit.
Vic en opinel tel ik dan ff niet mee.
