The **Case Tear Drop** is a traditional pocket knife, designed by the famous slipjoint maker Tony Bose. When you look at the handle you will immediately understand where the name comes from. The teardrop shape is slim and beautiful. It has a droppoint blade with slipjoint lock. 

## Case Tru-Sharp SS steel

The blade is made from Case Tru-Sharp SS. This is a stainless type of steel that is similar to 420HC steel. A great feature of this type of steel is that it can be sharpened quickly. 

## Amber Jigged Bone handle

The handle is made from *Amber Jigged Bone*. This is basically cow bone that is enhanced with an interesting texture. For this model, Case has opted for a Sawcut Jig texture. As such it looks like it has been cut with a coarse circular saw. A truly classic handle material that radiates class and elegance. It nicely matches the Case knives.
