The **Case Bose Sowbelly** is a traditional pocket knife with a classic Sowbelly shape. This specific version has three blades: one classic clippoint, a sheepsfoot and a spey-point blade. When opened they are kept in place by a slipjoint.

 This knife was designed by Tony Bose. A 'celebrity' in the world of traditional knives. You can clearly see his design style when you look at the clippoint blade. Compared to other Bose designs this is a relatively affordable model.

 ## Case CV carbon steel

 The blade is made from Case Chrome-Vanadium steel, also called CV steel. This is a type of carbon steel that is loved because you can easily sharpen it. With only a minimum amount of effort you can truly make this knife razor-sharp. You do, however, have to be careful when it comes to rust. Long-term exposure to moisture, salt or acids ensure that the blade will discolour or even rust. Enthusiasts appreciate that in time a patina forms on the blade. This means that the steel gets a matt, grey colour. As such the knife gets a character all its own, making it unique.

 ## Red & Black Carbon Fibre

 The handle is made from carbon fibre. And not just any type of carbon fibre: the black fibres alternate with red colour accents. An incredibly modern material that does match a traditional knife such as this.
