The **Case Medium Jack** is a traditional pocket knife with two blades. In the traditional pocket knife world, the Jack Knife is one of the most common patterns. It is essentially the most basic version of a pocket knife.



You open the Case Knives with two hands. To make this easier, there's a nail nick which gives you a little extra grip using your fingernail. This pocket knife is not equipped with a full lock, only with a slipjoint mechanism. This provides some resistance to prevent the knife from snapping shut during normal use. However, if you press on the spine of the blade, the knife will shut.



## Case Tru-Sharp SS steel
The blade is made of Case Tru-Sharp SS. This is a stainless steel that is actually the same as 420HC steel. This steel allows for fast sharpening, making it easy to maintain a sharp edge.



The blade has been polished, this is a premium blade finish that leaves no room for error. A polished blade ensures minimal friction while cutting, making the knife cut like a dream.



## Kirinite handle
The handle is made from Kirinite, a hard type of plastic with a stunning markings. It's wear resistant and can handle its own. The different colours give the material a kind of depth, very beautiful. Every plate of Kirinite is unique, which also makes every Kirinite handle unique. The knife you receive may therefore be slightly different than the product photos.



## Traditional: the Jack Knife pattern
The ‘Jack Knife’ is actually the simplest version of a pocket knife, equipped with only the one blade. In fact, ‘Jack knife’ used to be synonymous for ‘pocket knife’. Nowadays, the term ‘Jack Knife’ is used more liberally and you can also find Jack Knife knives with multiple blades. What these knives often have in common is that these moving parts all hinge from the same side of the handle.
