The Buck 102 Woodsman is a classically designed fixed hunting knife. The knife is modest in size but certainly not modest in terms of firmness. The Woodsman is well constructed and made to use.
  
  

The knife comes in a sturdy, leather sheath. This sheath features a snap button with which you safely lock the knife in the sheath. The sheath also features a belt loop.

Excellent couteau de chasse pour dépouiller, chevreuils, chamois et sangliers. L'acier garde son tranchant même sur les soies des sangliers. Il semble petit mais  fait bien le job.
Un vrai couteau de chasseur.

Schitterend klein mes, echt de mini-variant van de 119 Special (in dit geval de cocobolo). Zeer netjes afgewerkt, zoals je van Buck gewend mag zijn. De messing en hout afwerking is zeer luxe. 
Het lemmet, waar het uiteindelijk om gaat, is vlijmscherp en zo te zien goed afgewerkt. Je ziet dat dit niet in China is gemaakt, hier is tijd aan besteed. Het lemmet is ook dik genoeg zodat het geen Opinel dun lemmet is.
De schede is ook super gemaakt, wederom de mini-variant van de 119. Alleen zou de schede misschien anders kunnen: een clip in plaats van een lus zodat je het mes ook in je broekzak kunt dragen. Qua formaat moet dat geen probleem zijn.
De prijs is vrij hoog in verhouding tot z'n afmetingen, maar dat komt doordat je ook voor kwaliteit betaalt en voor de afwerking en niet alleen voor de hoeveelheid grondstoffen.
Kortom: super compact met waar je wél een appel mee kunt schillen!
