Böker calls the Plus Rold a real camping knife. We believe, however, that even if your fun camping trips ends up to be a real survival quest you will truly be happy to have this knife around. The blade is made from extremely strong D2-steel. The knife is razor-sharp upon delivery. The blade is also enhanced with a great stonewashed finish. Do keep in mind that D2-steel is a type of tool steel and therefore not 100% stainless. As such you should properly dry it after use and be careful around (fruit)acids.
