The Böker Magnum Echidna 01RY007 440B, TPE Handle is based on a mythological creature: The Echidna. This is a hybrid creature from Greek mythology, a beautiful woman and a fearsome snake in one, and symbolised both fearfulness and fertility. Fascinated by this figure, French knife designer Raphael Durand designed a pocket knife based on this myth: the Böker Plus Kerberos. In a way, the Böker Magnum Echidna is a lighter, ‘budget’ version of the Böker Plus Kerberos. It comes with a nylon sheath.
