The **Böker Magnum Collection 2020 02MAG2020** is a cool, fixed knife, designed by Dietmar Pohl. This knife was only produced 1999 times and it comes in a luxurious box. The Böker Magnum annual pieces, each year a new model, are desirable collectable objects. They are the highlight of many showcases. This tough knife is no exception.



In 1995 it was Dietmar Pohl's first design for a production knife. The Magnum annual piece for that year. 25 years later in 2020 he scores again. The handle stills looks a lot like the one from 1995. In terms of shape that is. The rest of the knife is a lot more refined. It matches Pohls growth as a knife maker. He is even so popular he was asked to design a knife for Rambo: Final Blood in 2019. Designing a Rambo knife, that is when you hit the jackpot in the knife world. In this Böker Magnum you can clearly see the same lines that are characterizing for Pohl's work. But it is a unique knife, different from the knife he made in 2019 for Rambo.



The pointed spear point blade is made from D2 steel. This is a tough type of steel that is easy to sharpen. A great choice for a knife such as this. You do, however, need to be careful for rust: this steel is not completely stainless. As such it can change colour a bit if you store it while it is still wet or dirty. The handle is made from G10: a strong material that offers you enough grip. Both are famous in the knife world due to their excellent reputation.



The Böker Magnum Collection 2020 02MAG2020 comes with a nice leather sheath in a great collector's edition box. Each knife is numbered. Be quick because this knife is only available while stocks last.
