Benchmade 581 Barrage

Benchmade has made the 581 Barrage a pocket knife with more mature dimensions. The handle provides excellent grip, and at 142 grams, the knife isn't too heavy. When you want to open the knife, you'll notice it has a nice assisted opening. The spring does most of the work for you. And it works perfectly. However, do keep in mind the spring force that needs to be overcome when you go to close the blade. The blade itself is made from super hard M390 steel. Benchmade even refers to it as 'Super Steel'.
