The **Bark River Cub** is an impressive fixed knife, made by hand in the United States. The first thing you notice about the Cub is the stunning lines in this design. The ergonomics are perfect, and the shape of the handle is flawless. The versatile design of the Bark River Cub means it is perfect for various tasks, from gutting large game to bushcraft or even survival tasks. In our opinion, the Bark River Cub is one of the best fixed knives in our range.



The blade is made from CPM 3V steel, a tool steel that is known for its exceptional strength. It is very hard to break, and also retains its sharpness well. You do, however, need to be careful with moisture and acids: CPM 3V is not completely stainless. Make sure to clean it after use and occasionally apply a drop of oil to keep this knife in great shape. The edge has a convex grind that can be maintained by stropping it.



The handle is made from Hellfire Maple Burl, a breathtakingly beautiful wood. It is extracted from the root wood of a maple and then stabilised with a red resin. This makes it highly durable as well as attractive. A real eye-catcher. And as the cherry on top, the middle pin securing the scales is a mosaic pin. Stunning!


The Bark River Cub comes with a leather belt sheath (max. belt width 7.0 cm). This sheath can also be worn horizontally.


Bark River Knives makes all of its knives almost entirely by hand. This means that each knife is unique. Especially when working with natural materials, a knife may differ from the photos. Therefore the knife you receive might be subtly different from the product photos. The model and type of material, however, will always be the same.
