New: the Gerber Vertebrae and Spine: light-weight expansion for your hiking equipment

The Gerber Vertebrae and Spine are two new fixed knives from the incredibly popular brand Gerber. As many know Gerber is known for its excellent price-quality ratio. After all, you get a whole lot of knife for relatively little money. The Gerber Vertebrae and Spine are no exception!

Gerber Vertebrae and Spine

The difference between both knives can mostly be found in the size. The Vertebrae has a blade length of 6.4 cm, and the spine one of 9.6 cm. Both knives are made from 7Cr17MoV steel. A great type of steel that is easy to sharpen, if need be. The blades run throughout the handle. This is called a full-tang construction. The result? An rock-solid construction that can handle its own! These two knives are therefore certainly not inferior to other well-known brands such as Mora. The handle is made from rubber with a light texture. As a result you will have enough grip in humid circumstances.

You don’t have to worry about losing one of these knives on the road. The incredibly strong FRN sheath has been enhanced with a long pocket clip. With this clip you can easily attach the Vertebrae or the Spine to a bag or belt. The sheath itself has been enhanced with a little barrier, this falls in the cut-out above the logo on the spine of the blade. As a result both knives will firmly be secured in the sheath.

Whether you go camping, hiking in the woods, or simply need to get some work done around the house, both the Gerber Vertebrae and Spine are perfect for those scenarios. The minimalistic design is incredibly versatile and easy to use. Are you looking for a great all-rounder, for an amazing price? The Gerber Vertebrae and Gerber Spine are definitely worth it!
