The **Wicked Edge Strops balsa wood, 1 and 0.5 micron** are two wooden strops for the Wicked Edge sharpening systems. The sharpening stones have a plastic base with two wooden sheets on top. This set is comprised of two different types of stropping compound of 1 and 0.5 micron.

These strops are meant to polish an already sharp knife. Want to sharpen a blunt knife? There are also finer sharpening stones that you can use to sharpen your knives. Voor mij doen deze balsa (houten) strops hetzelfde als de lederen strops. Alleen kan ik vlotter werken omdat ik bang ben in het leer te snijden. Dat heb ik met deze balsa strops niet. Een mirrored edge verkrijgen is redelijk makkelijk, en je mes is scheerscherp !
