The **WE Knife Gentry** is a remarkable pocket knife. It is the first slipjoint WE Knife ever produced. And it is absolutely amazing! It normally takes a while before a brand masters a new mechanism. This is not the case with WE Knife. The Gentry is a pocket knife worth purchasing.

 The Gentry, as the name already suggests, is a chic and modern gentleman's knife. The first thing you notice is the sleek and streamlined design. The design stays true to a classic slipjoint. It is therefore great to see that WE Knife made it its own with modern design elements and materials. The titanium handle is, for instance, enhanced with a carbon fibre inlay. The titanium has an interesting finish because WE first applied a black coating, after which it added a light satin finish to the titanium. The result is a remarkable set of finishes you keep looking at.

 The Gentry has a blade made from S35VN steel. A great type of steel that retains its sharpness well. The Gentry can easy be opened with the nail-nick and has, like many classic slipjoints, a half-stop. This means that the blade stops halfway after opening. A type of threshold that functions as an additional safety measure. As a result the knife won't accidentally close when you use it. Because the Gentry has a slipjoint mechanism you can legally carry it with you almost anywhere.

 The WE Knife gentry is a perfect pocket knife for the modern gentleman. The blade is only 1.2 mm thick. As such you can easily open a letter, cut through a piece of rope or peel an apple!
