The **Böker FR** is a stunning gentleman's knife, designed by Brad Zinker. A chic design, premium materials and a blade on ball bearings: the Böker FR has it all. 

 The Böker FR's blade is made from Japanese VG10-steel. A very popular piece of stainless steel that retains its sharpness well. In addition, VG10 steel is easy to sharpen. You open the pocket knife with the flipper. The blade shoots from the handle to be secured by a titanium liner lock.

 The titanium liners of the Böker FR are complemented by cocobolo scales. This offers a little more grip and looks even more chic.

Mooi klein stijlvol mes. Voor zijn lengte heeft hij verrassend veel lemmet lengte en de houten scales zijn goed afgewerkt. De flipper actie is super smooth, je voelt echt dat er lagers in de pivot zitten. De enige opmerking die ik heb is dat als je op de bovenkant van het mes drukt de framelock een beetje in beweging komt. Ik kan het mes niet doorduwen, maar dat beetje speling irriteert me wel.

Na tijdje getwijfeld te hebben (Boker plus had in het verleden soms quality issues), toch dit mes besteld. Is perfect afgewerkt, haarscherp geslepen en vooral heel licht. Een ideaal edc-gentleman's mes, bijna onvoelbaar en zeer discreet te dragen in de broekzak (deep carry pocket clip, ik wil niets anders).  In vergelijking met mijn Mcusta Basic folder een heel pak kleiner en vooral lichter. Geen mes om outdoor dingen mee te doen, maar voor dagelijkse "urban tasks" (= pakjes/brieven openen, appeltje snijden, enz) zeer geschikt.  door kleine formaat zeer sociaal aanvaard.  Openen en sluiten met 1 hand lukt perfect.  handgreep beetje aan de kleine kant om echt kracht te zetten, maar daarvoor is dit mes niet ontworpen.
